Meet The Team

Our journey began in June 2024 when we met as students at the Polkadot Blockchain Academy. After hearing Gavin Wood’s lecture on JAM at the University of Singapore, we were inspired to form JAM4S and take on the challenge of building the next iteration of the Polkadot protocol.

United by a shared passion for blockchain technology, our mission is to create a robust and efficient Polkadot implementation in Scala. We believe that building JAM combined with Scala’s powerful type system and functional programming paradigms, provides the perfect foundation for building scalable and secure blockchain infrastructure.
